Geometry Daily's Tilman Zitzmann, is a Designer and teacher from Nürnberg, Germany. His work is so inspiring, and translates so easily to any number of mediums including the skin!
It was love at first sight when we found his work on Tumblr. We soon discovered that we were not alone in our desire to use his artwork as tattoos. People from all over have contacted Tilman to use his designs for permanent inking purposes. If you feel inspired to do the same, reach out to him directly for permission.
All designs were hand-picked by Tilman and our team, to represent what we feel would look the best as a temporary tattoo. He has many more designs available on his site.
He is very kind and supremely talented. Here is a bit more about him and his process, taken directly from his site. The full interview can be found here.
Who are you?
Tilman, an interaction and graphic designer living and working in and near Nuremberg, Germany. I normally work at a creative agency called The Warriors of the Light. I also teach interaction design at the local University of Applied Sciences.
Why are you doing this?
I love it. I get a serious flow when I draw simple shapes, combine them and experiment until they start to “sing”. I’m a designer with all my heart. It’s an experiment. A journey into a world of possibilities.
